Estate Planning |

|
At McFarling Law Group, our estate planning attorneys can help you
establish a plan to manage, administer and distribute assets during your
lifetime and after. We advise clients regarding the various estate
planning tools available. We review and prepare all necessary documents,
including simple wills, living wills, powers of attorney, and
designations of medical representatives. We can also guide you through
the probate process upon the death of a loved one.
We handle a variety of estate planning matters directed toward achieving
a client's desires in the use and distribution of his or her estate in
life and at death through planning that considers the future individual
recipients, business succession, asset protection, tax reduction, and
insurance, utilizing wills and other vehicles and entities.
The basic Estate Planning Package consists of a Will, Living Will,
Durable
Health Care Power of Attorney, and Financial Power of Attorney.
Powers of attorney are an important part of any estate plan. A power of
attorney allows you to appoint a trusted person, to act as your agent to
transact any business on your behalf should you become incapable of
doing so yourself. This protects your interests if you should become
physically or mentally incapacitated or incompetent, your family will
not have to go through a potential guardianship proceeding, with its
attendant costs and delays, to handle your affairs. We also offer
statutory powers of attorney specific to health care matters as well as
living wills, to ensure that your medical wishes are carried out should
you be unable to make those decisions.
In addition to the estate planning packages, the attorneys at McFarling
Law Group also represent parties in seeking guardianship over a loved
one who cannot care for him/herself. This may include guardianship over
a child who has been left without parents able to care for him/her,
elderly people who are no longer able to manage their own affairs and
people who have been incapacitated due to illness or an accident.
Whether you are planning in advance by setting up an estate plan or you
are already in a situation where you need assistance in taking care of
another's affairs, McFarling Law Group is here to help you with your
estate planning needs.
McFarling Law Group is committed to providing the highest possible level of legal representation assisting you now and in the future.
